1966 Ford Mustang Suspension Overhaul: Bringing Paul’s Classic Pony Car Back to Life

When it comes to classic Mustang ownership, there’s nothing more rewarding than keeping a beloved car on the road and performing at its best. Recently, our friend and longtime customer, Paul, brought his 1966 Ford Mustang back to Cleveland Power and Performance for another round of upgrades. Over the years, we’ve helped maintain and improve this iconic Mustang with engine, transmission, and various mechanical repairs. This time, the focus was on something just as important: a complete suspension overhaul.

Paul wanted his Mustang to drive as good as it looked, so we went through the car’s suspension system from front to rear to restore confidence behind the wheel.

With a refreshed suspension, new shocks, rebuilt front end, and properly aligned chassis, this Mustang is ready for many more miles of cruising and car show season enjoyment.
