1966 Dodge Charger 392 Swap

This 1966 Charger arrived to us as a roller that was previously a partially complete 6.4L HEMI swap. This vehicle had been used by Holley for r&d as well as advertising for their late model HEMI conversion parts. After going through quite a few changes, and when Holley was done with the vehicle, it was sold to a customer who wanted to make a few changes and to get it road ready.

We received the car with no driveline, so a 6.4L 392 HEMI engine and NAG1 5 speed auto trans were sourced to be installed in the car. Before the engine and trans could be installed, we had to purchase additional swap components including swap oil pan and terminator X ECU.

On the underside of this Charger, our techs installed a frame strengthening kit and clearanced the trans tunnel to properly fit the NAG1. A Vintage Air system was installed along with a stand-alone engine harness and sperate trans controller. Many mechanical and electrical issues we resolved during the build and many new parts installed, including LED headlights, LED taillights, carbon fiber driveshaft, and more.

After getting the tune dialed in and some generous test driving, she was delivered to her owner to be enjoyed for years to come.
