B5 BLUE 2010 300C SRT-8 MANUAL TRANS CONVERSION

B5 BLUE 2010 300C SRT-8 MANUAL TRANS TIM MULCAHY

B5 BLUE 2010 300C SRT-8 MANUAL TRANS

A

Cleveland Power and Performance is proud to present this 2010 Chrysler 300C SRT8 that has been professionally built with a 6 speed manual transmission. In addition to the manual trans conversion, this 300C received engine/exhaust modifications, custom paint, unique wheels and much more. There were only 255 2010 SRT 300C’s sold in the US, making this a very limited production vehicle!

We purchased this 300C as a theft recovery, with the driveline and several interior components removed.  Shortly after receiving the 300C we purchased a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT with a manual transmission. We used the Challenger as a donor for all of the parts needed for the conversion. The 300C had 88k miles on when we received it, and the Challenger had 30k on it. This 300 has been inspected by the Ohio Highway State Patrol and now carries a fully insurable and transferable rebuilt title. The title will read as ” not actual mileage”

The VIN from the 300C is 2C3CA7CW6AH158072. The VIN from the donor 2009 Challenger is 2B3LJ74W59H538110.

We thoroughly tested the Challenger engine and inspected the transmission to make sure that they were fully functional and within factory spec. We then removed driveline to tear the engine down for a build. The build included a custom grind Comp Cam, Comp valve springs, Erson pushrods, stainless steel Manley valves, Johnson Lifters, ported cylinder heads, ported intake manifold, K&N cold air, and an 85mm BBK throttle body. The transmission used is the stock Challenger Tremec TR-6060, that has been fit with a Hurst shifter. The awesome exhaust tone heard on this 300 is due to the American racing long tubes, high flow cats, and Corsa cat back exhaust that we installed. The growl heard high in the RPM range really compliments this Chrysler’s attitude! After the build, and before the car hit the street, it was taken to the dyno shop to get fine tuned where it put down a very solid 444whp and 415ft-lbs

Before paint and prep the 300 was taken down to a completely bare shell. All of the jambs, trunk pan, under-hood, inside of doors, etc were professionally painted. We painted this vehicle to make sure it looked like it came B5 blue from the factory. The underside of the vehicle and wheel wells have been covered with a light undercoating mixed with B5 Blue for rust prevention and sound deadening.

We painted gloss black stripes over the car and deck-lid, painted the roof gloss black, and added glass black accents on the quarter panels. We also added our logo in matte black over the gloss on the quarters for a subtle personal touch. The aftermarket grille was also painted gloss black after it was smoothed down to give the front end a seamless look. The taillights have been tinted and the outside trim and door mirrors have been painted gloss black to compliment the paint scheme of the 300.

This 300C retains all of the interior amenities that you would expect in a Chrysler SRT8. The touch screen navigation with internal hard drive is fully functional. The Kicker sound system sounds great, and is complete with the sub mounted truck. The digital EVIC (vehicle info center in the cluster) is fully operational and includes 0-60mph timer, 1/4 mile timer, top speed log, and much more.

This 300C has a beautiful stance thanks to the KW Variant 2 coilover suspension. We have the car sitting around an 1″ below stock height, giving the vehicle a great stance and even better ride quality. The suspension has also been upgraded with Hotchkis sway bars in both the front and rear. This 300C is equipped with the Challenger SRT manual trans 3.92 ratio Getrag limited slip rear differential.

After the build completion, this vehicle was professionally aligned.

All four corners of the car feature the powerful stock Brembo brakes which are sitting over cross drilled and slotted rotors. The calipers and rotors provide a beautiful contrast to the Brass Monkey painted OEM Lightweight Scat Pack wheels that we used on this vehicle. The wheels were painted in house, and were color matched to a stock Hellcat Brass Money wheel. All four wheels are wrapped in 245/45/20 Goodyear Eagle RSA’s. This manual converted 300c is the real deal. This car starts, runs, drives and stop just like it should. There are no warning lights on and no codes being thrown.

We spent many hours and several hundred test miles on this Chrysler to ensure that all bugs have been worked out and that this car can be driven and enjoyed for years to come. This car is a true head turner, and that is before the onlookers get close enough to see the shifter or that third pedal hiding down there!
