WE CUT A SECTION OF AN AUTO TRANS BELLHOUSING AND BOLTED IT TO THE BACK OF THE ENGINE IN ORDER TO USE A STARTER

 

At Cleveland Power & Performance, each engine is inspected and run tested before we back them with our exclusive 6-month warranty! Before we start each engine, we remove the spark plugs and hand turn the engine over to make sure that no oil has passed the rings. We do a compression test to make sure the piston rings, intake valves, exhaust valves, and head gaskets are properly sealed. We do a vacuum test to make sure there are no burned or sticking intake and exhaust valves, collapsed lifters, or vacuum leaks. We do an oil pressure test at cold start up and warm operating temperature to ensure proper rod bearing clearance and that there are no restrictions in the oiling system. We do a CO test to make sure there are no cracks in the engine block and cylinder heads, and that there are no exhaust gases in the cooling system. 

 

Compression was 245 over 230

Oil pressure was 60 pounds cold and 50 pounds warm

Vacuum was a SOLID 22”
