CLEVELAND POWER AND PERFORMANCE IS PROUD TO OFFER THIS 2004 CHEVROLET SSR AUTO TRANS ROLLING CHASSIS! THIS CHASSIS IS COMPLETE WITH ENGINE, TRANS, SUSPENSIONS, FUEL SYSTEM, BRAKE SYSTEM AND MORE. THE 116″ WHEELBASE MAKES THIS SETUP AN IDEAL CANDIDATES TO PUT UNDER YOUR CLASSIC CHEVY PICKUP. THIS CHASSIS WAS REMOVED FROM AN SSR WITH 79K MILES ON IT!
DUE TO THE AGE/MILEAGE ON THIS TRUCK, THE ENGINE WAS TAKEN DOWN TO A LONG BLOCK TO BE INSPECTED, CLEANED, AND REGASKETED. WE REPLACED ALL NON-REUSABLE HARDWARE AND GASKETS IN THE PROCESS. WE ALSO INSTALLED NEW PLUG WIRES, RUBBER MOTOR MOUNTS, TRANS PAN, AND GASKET.
THIS ROLLING CHASSIS FEATURES A 5.3L LM4 VORTEC ENGINE AND 4L60E 4 SPEED AUTO TRANSMISSION! THE 5.3L PRODUCES 300HP @ 5,200 RPM AND 330 FT-LBS OF TORQUE @ 4,000 RPM!

At Cleveland Power and Performance, we thoroughly inspect each motor and transmission and then back it with our exclusive 6-month warranty! Before we start each engine, we remove all the spark plugs and hand turn the engine over to make sure no oil has passed the rings. We do a compression test to make sure the rings, valves, and head gaskets are properly sealed. We do a vacuum test to make sure there are no burned or sticking valves, collapsed lifters, or vacuum leaks. We do an oil pressure test at cold start up and warm operating temperatures to ensure proper bearing clearance and that there are no restrictions in the oiling system.
We do a CO test to make sure there are no cracks in the block and heads, and that there are no exhaust gases present in the cooling system. We inspect the automatic transmission by draining and inspecting the transmission fluid. We then remove the filter and check for debris or foreign material. We then refill the transmission with new fluid and run test it through all of the gears to ensure that it shifts properly. If any problems are found, the transmission will be torn down for inspection and repaired as necessary. We also drain the differential and inspect the fluid for debris. We then refill the differential with fluid.
BEFORE WE DROPPED THE ENGINE OUT OF THIS SSR, WE DID A FULL RUNTEST.
